Music Maestro Pankaj Mullick was a pioneer in the field of imparting long-distance lessons. In 1930, he conceptualized and started a weekly programme on Indian radio called Sangeet Shiskshar Ashar. For the next 47 years, he could be heard every Sunday morning, giving music lessons to pupils he could neither see nor hear. Long before the internet made long-distance interface the new normal, Pankaj Mullick, through his record-setting radio programme brought learning to the doorstep of the audience.
Keeping up the tradition, Pankaj Mullick Music and Art Foundation is launching a series of Workshops, where lessons will be imparted and guidance given on various art forms be they from the domains of fine arts or performing arts.
All workshops will be Certificate Courses.
