Rajib Alo Gupta is an entrepreneur and an interdisciplinary artiste: He is a voice artiste, an elocutionist, a director of documentary films and short films (for the Indian Government and the corporate sector), a writer, a playwright, a lyricist, a textile designer, an illustrator, a teacher, a lecturer and a cultural-revivalist. Incidentally, Rajib Alo Gupta is the grandson of legendary music maestro Pankaj Mullick. In 2005 he and his wife Jhinuk Gupta founded the non-profit organization PANKAJ MULLICK MUSIC AND ART FOUNDATION. Although the organization was initially dedicated solely to the preservation and promotion of the myriad works of Pankaj Mullick, it has since 2010 diversified into reviving and propagating the cultural heritage of India as well. He has performed live in various cities across the country and abroad. He has also performed on radio and television. His writings have been published as articles and books. His recitations too have been published by renowned music companies as CDs. His activities have been widely covered in the media, be it – print, electronic or digital.
